Overview
Our Purpose

Living Tall with Sotos is a dedicated charity focused on empowering teens and young adults with Sotos Syndrome through social development. By offering engaging group recreational activities, we aim to build connections and confidence among participants while providing valuable information and resources for families affected by this condition.
By promoting awareness and understanding of Sotos Syndrome, we strive to foster a supportive environment where young individuals can thrive socially and emotionally.

Description of Programs and Services
Standing Tall with Sotos is dedicated to empowering teens and young adults with Sotos syndrome to live productive, successful, and enriched lives. Through joyful experiences, our programs foster social growth, personal development, and lasting confidence.
The Problem
Individuals with Sotos syndrome often face significant challenges, including developmental delays, social difficulties, and isolation from their peers. As they enter their teenage and young adult years, these challenges can become more pronounced, leading to limited opportunities for independence, fewer social connections, and reduced quality of life. Families frequently struggle to find programs tailored to this age group, leaving many young people without the support and enriching experiences they need to thrive.
The Solution
Standing Tall with Sotos provides a supportive, inclusive environment where participants can build life skills, expand their social networks, and experience joy through recreational activities. By creating opportunities for learning, connection, and adventure, we reduce isolation, encourage independence, and give participants the tools and confidence to succeed in society.
